The Guitar Hero Community and the good folks over at Gamespot.com have joined forces to bring you GUITAR HERO III ROCK-TACULAR! This series of High-Score tournaments will have players battling it out over the course of three consecutive weekends. The last four players standing will win a trip to the Gamespot TV Studios in San Francisco, where they will compete for $1000 in prizes!
The Rock-tacular Final Four have been determined! After 3 rounds of close and exciting competition, the following players will be heading to San Francisco, California to battle live on Gamespot TV (Friday, May 9th 2008):

Below is the Guitar Hero III Rock-Tacular Schedule. Each schedule block is also a link to that Round's official tournament forum thread, where you can find detailed tournament directions, tournament standings, and the latest tournament discussion. You can also use the Round 1 thread to join the tournament if you haven't already done so.
- The Top 50 finishers at the end of Round 1, will be invited into Round 2.
- The Top 25 finishers at the end of Round 2, will be invited into Round 3.
- The Top 4 finishers at the end of Round 3 will win a trip to the Gamespot TV Studios to compete for $1000 in prizes.
* The Difficulty Level will increase as the rounds go on (Round 1 - Medium, Round 2 - Hard, Round 3 - Expert).
*You must be eligible for Guitar Hero III Rock-Tacular play in order to move on.
Playing in an Online High Score Tournament is simple and fun!
*Each Rock-tacular tournament round will have a setlist of 4 songs (which are listed on both the official tournament thread, and official tournament page.)
*Play those 4 songs using the High Score Tournament Instructions below, and your scores will automatically be updated to the tournament standings (if you have properly followed the two steps to join Roc-tacular listed above).
Note: To view the current tournament standings while the tournament is in progress, use the official tournament thread for whichever round you're in (links above), and click the official tournament page link located within.
